Brad Hamm

Brad Hamm is a professor and former dean of Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University. He has served as a trustee for the Poynter Institute and as a judge for the Scripps Howard National Journalism Awards. He served as an independent, non-executive member of the Board of Directors for Next Digital media company of Hong Kong and Taiwan. Hamm started his career as a newspaper reporter. Hamm holds a PhD in mass communication research from the University of North Carolina, a M.A. in journalism from the University of South Carolina and B.A. from Catawba College in North Carolina.
