Robert Clark

Robert Clark is the Head of UK Public Affairs and Advocacy at the Committee for Freedom in Hong Kong (CFHK) Foundation, where he heads parliamentary engagement and advocacy campaigns across the UK, coordinating with UK parliamentarians, other NGOs, and civil society. Prior to joining the CFHK Foundation, Clark spent three years at Westminster-based civil society think-tank Civitas, first as a Research Fellow prior to becoming the Director of the Defence and Security Unit. In this role Robert authored numerous reports, including several examining the role of CCP influence and interference operations in the UK, the evolving role of the Chinese military, and the UK's higher education sector becoming strategically dependent on China. Prior to this, he was a Defence Fellow at the foreign affairs think-tank the Henry Jackson Society. Clark served 10 years in the British Army, including combat tours of Iraq and Afghanistan. He has a degree in International Relations and Arabic (High First), and a Masters in Conflict Studies (Distinction), from King's College London.
